New Zealanders will get more access to travel to Australia with Jetstar boosting its Auckland to Brisbane service by Easter, next year.

The airline will have four return flights each week to Auckland with promotional airfares at $239 one-way.
The service was expected to bring in another 35,000 New Zealanders adding about $44 million to the economy.
The new service was secured through the $200 million joint State Government and industry fund.
It follows the announcement yesterday by Virgin that it would start a Cairns to Tokyo service next December using the same funding which acts to subsidise fares.
Jetstar group chief executive Stepanie Tully said it was the first time the airline had offered direct flights between Brisbane and Auckland and she was confident it would be successful.
The flights will start in time for New Zealand Warriors fans to be at the NRL magic round at Suncorp Stadium in May.
Brisbane Airport’s international capacity is now at 60 per cent.
