Brisbane based ReNu Energy subsidiary picks Peter Gutwein for its board, Collins Foods picks up a director, Ian Klug takes over museum and the Government picks 12 for its housing panel.

Brisbane based ReNu Energy has appointed former Tasmania Premier Peter Gutwein to the board of its subsidiary Countrywide Hydrogen.
ReNu said Gutwein’s role would include assisting in negotiations, advising on processes for regulatory approvals and assessing strategic, financial and commercial implications of projects.
The company has also appointed Owen Hobbs as general manager of Countrywide’s hydrogen developments.
John Aitken has announced he is starting as the new interim chief executive at Millovate – the Mill at Moreton Bay.
The organisation was established to oversee the development and activation of the Mill.
Aitken is also a board member of the Tourist and Transport Forum advisory board.
Collins Foods has appointed Nicki Anderson to the board. Anderson will be an independent director and head the audit and risk committee as well as the remuneration and nomination committee.
She is currently the deputy chair of the Australia Made Campaign and also sits on the boards of Graincorp, Carig Mostyn Group, Prostate Cancer Foundation and the Fred Hollows Foundation.
James Cook University has appointed Ngiare Brown as chancellor.
Brown is a graduate from JCU and now lives on the NSW south coast. She completed a Masters of Public Health and Tropical Medicene and received an outstanding alumni award in 2012.
Brown starts her appointment in April.
Greenwing Resources has appointed Alan Zeng to its board following a placement to NIO after a $12 million placement to the company.
Greenwing has also issued a call option to NIO allowing to acquire between 20 and 40 per cent of issued capital in Andes Litio SA, which holds the rights over the San Jorge lithium project.
Ian Klug has taken over as chair of the Brisbane Museum.
Klug is also chair at Place Design and The Water and Carbon Group as well as a director of Queensland Ballet.
Executive manager at Ronald McDonald House (south east Queensland) Fiona MacAnnally has resigned.
She told her LinkedIn followers that the commute from the Gold Coast to Brisbane had taken its toll.
She will be starting as Karuna Hospice’s philanthropy manager at the end of January.
The State Government has expanded its expert panel on housing.
Deputy Premier Steven Miles appointed 12 experts to the Housing Supply Expert Panel over the Christmas-New Year break.
The panel consists of chair Julie Saunders, Amy Degenhart, Mary Doctor, Michael Fotheringham, Guy Gibson, Sharon Harwood, Antonia Mercorella, Darren Mew, Phillip Ransom, Natalie Rayment, Tim Reardon and Mathew Ryan.
Armour Energy said it had appointed Robin O’Leary as General Manager – Exploration & Portfolio.
The company said O’Leary had significant experience as an oil and gas professional and had led integrated exploration and development activities and asset management across both onshore and offshore Australia and internationally with a track record of discoveries, project delivery and strategy execution.
Former Brothers Rugby chief executive and Reds school sport program manager Matt Kaye has announced he will start at Rugby Australia as a club development officer.
Kaye was Brothers chief executive for five years.
